Dr. Perelló is a cardiovascular surgeon with over a decade of specialized experience in complex cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass (CABG), valve repair and replacement, and advanced aortic surgery.
He completed his cardiovascular surgery residency at Hospital Felício Rocho in Brazil — one of Latin America's leading cardiac centers — where he participated in more than 1,200 cardiac and vascular procedures and performed over 200 surgeries as lead surgeon during his training.
Dr. Perelló has been part of high-volume surgical programs contributing to approximately 170 cardiac surgeries annually, with extensive experience in complex aortic pathologies, valve reconstruction, and minimally invasive structural heart procedures.
He has participated in heart transplant programs and advanced circulatory support systems, including ECMO and ventricular assist technologies, with international exposure through clinical rotations and academic collaborations.
