Standing seam metal, torch-on membrane, cedar shingles, and composite systems. Fully integrated with drainage planes, vapour barriers, and thermal performance targets.
Cladding & Siding
Cedar, Hardie, thermally modified wood, metal panel, and rainscreen systems. Detailed for coastal exposure — drainage, ventilation, and long-term durability built into every layer.
Windows & Doors
Supply, flashing, and installation of windows, exterior doors, and glazing systems. Air-sealed, thermally broken, and detailed to prevent every coastal failure mode — water, wind, and condensation.

Our build process
Permit & Mobilisation
Building permit coordination, site setup, temporary services, and material scheduling. We do not break ground until drawings are approved, materials are on order, and the site is ready to run efficiently.
2 to 6 weeks depending on permit timelineFoundation & Frame
Foundation tie-in or new slab preparation, followed by structural framing to engineer-stamped drawings. Each framing inspection is completed before the next phase begins — no skipping steps on the coast.
2 to 6 weeksRoof & Wrap
Roofing system and building wrap installed to get the structure weathertight as fast as possible. On the North Vancouver Island coast, weather windows matter — we move from frame to dry-in with urgency and precision.
1 to 3 weeksWindows, Doors & Cladding
Window and door installation with full air sealing and flashing, followed by cladding and rainscreen. Every penetration is detailed before cladding goes on — there are no shortcuts on a coastal envelope.
2 to 5 weeksInspection & Handover
Final building inspection, deficiency walkthrough, and envelope performance verification. We hand over a building that is dry, tight, and ready for interior finishing — with documentation of every detail.
3 to 5 daysBuilt for the coast
